The L'Yada MUN Delegation to New York, May 12-18, 2009
 
Here we are, just before the conference, meeting with Deputy Ambassador Carmon at the Israeli Embassy in New York.  The Israeli Consulate Program Manager, Dana Ehrlich, also arranged a visit for us with the Lehman High School in the Bronx which has a student exchange program with the American Israel Friendship League.
 
In addition, we visited and ran activities at the prestigious Heschel High  School in the Upper West Side.
 
The actual United Nations Association Model U.N. Conference ran for two days with over 2,000 participants from high schools around the world.   The sessions were held at the Grand Hyatt NY and also at the actual United Nations Building.
 
We were the first Israeli school Ministry of Education-approved delegation ever to attend the UNA-USA Conference in New York.  Our participants were 5 seniors who have all been active for the past 3 years in the MUN Etgar Program at L'Yada: Bosmat Golub, Yair  Tocalty, Gabriella Ginsberg-Fletcher, Maayan Lenga and Donna Gal, accompanied by their MUN Advisor and Coordinator of the program, Evrea Ness-Bergstein.
